How it is counted

Counts the stratagems this person devised that were carried out (whether they worked, failed or were seen through), as the texts tell them; each plan counts once, in the chapter that tells its outcome. Plain advice with no plan in it doesn't count. “All” adds both books.

A fact repeated across several chapters counts once; equal scores share a rank. Novel Embellished and Overlooked by the Novel compare how often a person appears in each book (dialogue plus relationships), smoothed by 10 so barely mentioned people do not top the list.
