二年春正月，魏作合肥新城。詔立都講祭酒，以教學諸子。遣將軍衞溫、諸葛直將甲士萬人，浮海求夷洲及亶洲。亶洲在海中，長老傳言：秦始皇帝遣方士徐福將童男童女數千人入海，求蓬萊神山及仙藥，止此洲不還。世相承有數萬家，其上人民。時有至會稽貨布，會稽東縣人海行，亦有遭風流移至亶洲者。所在絶遠，卒不可得至，但得夷洲數千人還。

三年春二月，遣太常潘濬率眾五萬，討武陵蠻夷。衞溫、諸葛直皆以違詔無功，下獄誅。夏有野蠶成繭，大如卵。由拳野稻自生，改爲禾興縣。中郎將孫布詐降以誘魏將王淩，淩以軍迎布。冬十月，權以大兵潛伏於阜陵俟之，淩覺而走。會稽南始平言嘉禾生。十二月丁卯，大赦，改明元年也。

In the spring of the second year of Huanglong, Wei Wen and Zhuge Zhi led ten thousand armored soldiers across the sea in search of Yizhou and Danzhou. In the end, they returned with only several thousand people from Yizhou (according to the historical record).
The following year, Wei Wen and Zhuge Zhi were imprisoned and executed for disobeying the imperial order and accomplishing nothing (according to the historical record).
