Yu Du was a leader of the Black Mountain bandits; he does not appear in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

    Deeds

Yu Du, Bai Rao, Sui Gu, and others led a force of more than 100,000 in attacks on Wei Commandery and Dong Commandery. After Cao Cao defeated Bai Rao, Yuan Shao recommended Cao Cao for the post of Administrator of Dong Commandery. (According to historical records)

In the spring of Jian’an 3, Cao Cao stationed his troops at Duncheng. Yu Du and the others attacked Dongwuyang, so Cao Cao turned west and entered the mountains to attack Yu Du’s main camp. Upon learning of this, Yu Du abandoned Dongwuyang and returned. (According to historical records)
