建衡元年，疾病。皓遣中書令董朝問所欲言，凱陳：“何定不可任用，宣授外任，不宜委以國事。奚熙小吏，建起浦裡田，欲復嚴密故跡，亦不可聽。姚信、樓玄、賀劭、張悌、郭逴、薛瑩、滕脩及族弟喜，抗，或清白忠勤，或姿才卓茂，皆社稷之楨干，國家之良輔。願陛下重留神思，訪以時務，各盡其忠，拾遺萬一。”遂卒，時年七十二。

樓玄字承先，沛郡蘄人也。孫休時為監農御史。孫皓即位，與王蕃、郭逴、萬彧俱為散騎中常侍，出為會稽太守，入為大司農。舊禁中主者自用親近人作之，彧陳親密近職宜用好人，皓因敕有司，求忠清之士，以應其選，遂用玄為宮下鎮禁中候，主殿中事，玄從九卿持刀侍衛，正身率眾，奉法而行，應對切直，數迕皓意，漸見責怒。後人誣白玄與賀邵相逢，駐共耳語大笑，謗訕政事，遂被詔詰責，送付廣州。

Guo Chuo was a figure of Eastern Wu who served as Palace Attendant of the Imperial Secretariat during Sun Hao’s reign. He does not appear in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Deeds
In the first year of Jianheng, when Lu Kai was gravely ill, Sun Hao sent the Secretariat Director Dong Chao to ask him for his final words. Lu Kai named Guo Chuo as a pillar of the state and a worthy assistant to the court, recommending that he be kept in mind for appointment. (According to historical records)
