    Deeds

    • When Wang Yi was summoned, Wei Gu and Fan Xian outwardly requested that Wang Yi remain in office, but secretly conspired with Gao Gan. When Du Ji arrived to take up his post in Hedong, Wei Gu and the others sent several thousand men to block the Shan Ford crossing, preventing Du Ji from crossing the river. (According to historical records)
    • Du Ji used a stratagem to remain in Hedong, while Wei Gu and Fan Xian pretended to serve him. Wei Gu agreed to delay sending out troops and to dispatch officials separately to rest. Later, Wei Gu joined Gao Gan and Zhang Sheng in attacking Du Ji, but was ultimately defeated and executed. (According to historical records)
    • When Zhang Sheng and the others rose in arms, Wei Gu also took up arms in response. Zhang Ji joined forces with Ma Teng and others to defeat the rebels and beheaded Wei Gu. (According to historical records)
