郡有舊道，經旄牛中至成都，既平且近。自旄牛絕道，已百餘年，更由安上，既險且遠。疑遣左右資貨幣賜路，重令路姑喻意，路乃率兄弟妻子悉詣疑，疑與盟誓，開通舊道，千里肅清，復古亭繹。奏封路為旋牛毗王，遣使將路朝貢。後主於是加疑撫戎將軍，領郡如故。嶷初見費禕為大將軍，恣性泛愛，待信新附不過，嶷書戒之曰：「昔岑彭率師，來歙杖節，咸見害於刺客，今明將軍位尊權重，宜鑒前事，少以為警。」後禕果為魏降人郭脩所害。

Lang Lu was a leader of the Maoniu Yi in Hanjia Commandery under Shu Han; he belonged to the Maoniu Yi. He does not appear in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Deeds
Because his aunt’s husband, Dong Feng, wanted to avenge a grievance, Lang Lu led his followers to Zhang Ni and returned after receiving rewards (according to historical records).
Zhang Ni sent gifts of money and goods to Lang Lu and asked his aunt to convey his message. Lang Lu then led his brothers and wife to meet Zhang Ni, swore an oath with him, and reopened the old Maoniu road, which had been closed for more than a hundred years. Zhang Ni memorialized the court to appoint him King of Maoniu Pi and sent an envoy to accompany him to court to pay tribute (according to historical records).
