Chen Qin was a general of Eastern Wu and served as an official in charge of sacrificial rites. He does not appear in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Deeds
Chen Qin was bold and aggressive by nature. While serving as an official in charge of sacrificial rites, he browbeat those present at a banquet and meted out punishments unfairly. When Ling Tong challenged him to his face, Chen Qin angrily insulted Ling Tong and his father, Ling Cao. Later, while drunk, he insulted Ling Tong on the road. Ling Tong drew his blade and wounded him, and Chen Qin died several days later (according to historical records).
