Yin Shi was a county official mentioned in the Records of the Three Kingdoms, but he does not appear in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Events

Hua Tuo examined and treated Yin Shi, concluding that if Yin Shi failed to sweat after eating hot food, he would die three days later. After Yin Shi ate, he indeed did not sweat. Hua Tuo then judged that Yin Shi’s visceral qi had been exhausted, and Yin Shi died as he had predicted. (Recorded in historical sources)
