Lü Gong was Cao Cao’s inspector of Yu Province. He appears in relevant accounts in the Records of the Three Kingdoms, but not in the novel.

Deeds

In the twenty-fourth year of Jian’an, when Sun Quan attacked Hefei, Lü Gong and Pei Qian, inspector of Yanzhou, were both summoned by imperial edict to the front. The two delayed their departure; later, Lü Gong and the others also received a secret letter urging them to advance. (As recorded in the histories)
